Hello readers,
It’s already mid-october, but I am still remembering the summer days. Decided to share my Lloret de Mar experience with you this time. Our Europe trip was based in this cute little touristy town. Our hotel was just in the midst of events, in the mere centre, called Festa Brava. The location was perfect, most of the things were just 5-10 minutes away walking, especially to the beach. We had all inclusive buffet style restaurant and the food was delicious. So delicious, I’ve had seconds almost every meal. Lloret de Mar, in my opinion is just perfect for young people and groups of friends. Although it was September and end of season, the city was full with people, as if summer was to go on for another three months. There’s clubs and bars one after another, no end to them. Beach bars, as well, serving only large and extra large drinks and cocktails. We’ve had the opportunity to try a couple, and it was an experience for sure. Lloret is the best mix of long beaches and quiet walks through nature and city crowd and traffic, shops, stores, bars, clubs, etc. At moments it did seem a bit too loud and hectic for me, but just 10 minute walk from the centre and I got my peace and quiet on beautiful beach called Fenals. There are many more, including the main beach Lloret, but Fenals was my favourite, because it’s behind the hill, away from the city chaos. Even the 7 days we’ve spent there wasn’t enough for me; wish we had more time enjoying the waves and the sea, that I give 11/10. We bought bunch of floaties and had the best time on the huge waves, surfing them and letting them throw us around the beach. Just amazing. The best thing about it was that it was September, so no families or little kids, just some old couples and mostly people in their 20s. That really worked out for us, because over crowded beaches aren’t that much of a fun, when you have to watch where you step or swim. This was my first time on vacation in September and I loved it. Anyhow, if you ever get an opportunity, definitely stop by Lloret de Mar.
That’s all for now. Talk to you soon. Feel free to leave me comments and positive vibes. Stay tuned for more escapades, you never know where I might end up next.
And remember- venture to adventure,
S
